Dr. Hemant A Antani

Dr. Hemant Antani is an experienced Physician in Anand (Gujarat), who owns and runs the 35-bed Arpan Hospital & ICU. He has been in private practice since 1988, and functions as a Consultant in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Clinical Cardiology and Diabetology. He also visits Zydus Hospital in Anand and serves as Chairman of the Ethics Committee of that hospital.         

Dr. Hemant Antani did his medical studies at Baroda Medical College (The Maharaja Sayajirao University), graduating with an MBBS in 1981 and later obtaining an MD (Internal Medicine) postgraduate degree in 1984.

Dr. Antani has been a regular participant at International Conferences in Diabetes and Cardiology for the last 10 years - American College of Cardiology (ACC), American Diabetes Association (ADA), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), International Diabetes Federation (IDF), and European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD). He has also been a regular Speaker for the past 20 years at various Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes for General Practitioners and Physicians, on topics such as Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension and Clinical Cardiology.

Dr. Antani is a life member of several medical associations and has also been a very active Rotarian since 1989. His social service efforts include the upliftment of a rural school; organising funds for cataract surgeries for the underprivileged; and, mobilising financial help for TB patients unable to afford their own treatment costs. Dr. Antani delivers lectures on Self-Improvement and Motivational topics all over the state of Gujarat, and also anchors personality development contests for the youth. He is an active member of the Anand District Cricket Association, where he is involved in promoting young talent.
